| | | New Contact: Todd Richardson chair.livingstonlp@gmail.com MONTHLY MEETINGS We will meet the first Thursday of each month at Cleary's Irish Pub in Howell from 7PM-8:30PM. That allows for people to eat at home if they don't want to eat out, and rush hour traffic is gone by 7. Our meetings will have four parts. 1. Mingling during dinner During the eating by those who don't eat ahead of time, we will hang out and get to know each other. 2. Studies in Liberty We will discuss an assigned reading about liberty. Our first is going to be The Revolution: A Manifesto by Ron Paul. The new paperback edition has a new chapter on the fiscal crisis. 3. News Anyone who has news about their town's or Lansing's policies can share what's happening so we can reinforce policies that promote liberty, and fight policies that reduce liberty. 4. Party Business Those who are members of the Libertarian Party of Michigan will discuss what we have going on regarding the Candidate Training in April and the caucus to select local candidates this summer. You do NOT have to be a member of the Libertarian Party of Michigan to attend these meetings. I am keeping party business for last so anyone who just wants to discuss liberty with us can leave after the News segment. We welcome anyone interested in a better Michigan to join us for the first three meeting parts. (And you don't have to leave for part 4 if you would like to see what the LPM is up to). Occasionally, we will have a guest speaker instead of our book or article discussion. I look forward to meeting all of you and hope that a regular meeting time and place will help us "get in the groove" for 2010. I will send another meeting notice in the first week of March, but for now, get a copy The Revolution: A Manifesto and start reading :-) In liberty, Tim Keirnan 517-223-8322 | Cleary's Irish Pub. 117 E Grand River Ave, Howell. 48843 | | |

| | | Early in the Morning till late at night... The Libertarian Party of Wayne County will sponsor the annual "Students for Individual Liberty" booth at Dally in the Alley. Most activity is between 11AM and 11PM, but at least one volunteer needs to hold the spot in the early morning and we normally breakdown the booth after dark. Every year since 1994 we have reached thousands of people with the libertarian message. This is great place for Libertarian candidates to get a start before the weather changes. Volunteers should contact Scotty Boman at 313-247-2052 or scottyboman@hotmail.com if they wish to help out. 48843 | | |
