Title:
Libertarian Party Responsible Legislator Pledge
Author:

Article:
Donny Ferguson from the national LP has e-mailed everyone on the national list a link to the Libertarian Party Responsible Legislator Pledge
(
http://www.lp.org/files/ReadTheBillPledge.pdf
).
It's one simple question for your congressman or senator -- will you sign your name to a promise not to vote for any federal health care bill you haven't read in full, understand?
This is intended to help our federal candidates in 2010. If our opponent refuses to sign it, they are admitting they don't read major legislation before they vote on it. If they sign it, they are now personally responsible for every aspect of the bill. They can't claim they didn't know it outlawed private insurance.
Please let your federal candidates for next year know about the Pledge, available at LP.org. It is there to give them an issue to beat up their opponent next year.
